Track Entry (includes Raffle) Tickets are 10 Euros each. Please note: Entry Tickets must be purchased beforehand in advance from the Lions Club or from a Saplings School organiser for the School to benefit. Please try to buy your entry Tickets from a Member of Saplings School or the Lions Club to maximise the benefit for the Children of Saplings school.

Welcome to Saplings
Saplings Ltd is an independent, not for profit, public interest Company with charity status. Established originally through the energy and commitment of a small group of parents and professionals in the Kildare area, Saplings has since developed to provide educational services to 84 pupils between Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Carlow and Westmeath.

Mission Statement
To support individuals with a diagnosis of autism and their families; assisting them to achieve their full potential and participate in their family and community life, through the provision of holistic evidence based services, celebrating each individuals dignity, uniqueness and right to an optimal education.

Therefore Saplings is currently undertaking a strategic review of how we currently manage our waiting lists and make provision to respond to need in the future.

What is autism?
Autism is a lifelong developmental disability that affects the way a person communicates and relates to people around them. People with autism have difficulties with everyday social interaction.

What is Asperger syndrome?
Asperger syndrome is a form of autism, a condition that affects the way a person communicates and relates to others. People with Asperger syndrome may find difficulty in social relationships and in communicating, and limitations in social imagination and creative play.
